Rise Interactive (http://www.riseinteractive.com), a rapidly growing full service interactive advertising agency, is looking to hire a Delivery Manager into the Innovation team. We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative and highly motivated individual contributor that is excited about joining a new Innovation department and contributing professionally to an entrepreneurial company with an expanding Fortune 500 client base.
Summary and Scope
The Delivery Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and communicating on multiple engineering-related projects. As the Delivery Manager, you will lead and move a team through client onboarding and ongoing management requests for the Connex platform, Rise’s proprietary technology system. You will evolve, evangelize and ensure the development and product support teams execute Rise’s scrum methodology consistently and embrace Agile values and principles.The ideal candidate will be comfortable with complex technical projects and will effectively handle the challenges and difficulties that may arise at any given time. The ideal candidate will excel in a cross-functional team environment and navigate all levels of the organization with exceptional communication skills and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day planning, coordination, and project management across the entirety of the client onboarding process and ongoing client maintenance for the Connex platform
  • Evolve, evangelize and ensure the development and product support teams execute Rise’s scrum methodology consistently and embrace Agile values and principles, while ensuring the teams are focused on continuous improvement
  • Manage cross-functional and geographically dispersed project teams using keen leadership, effective communication, strong negotiation skills
  • Provide status/tracking of project progress and manage project trade-offs across scope, timing, and resources and adjust priorities as needed
  • Lead and/or contribute as an individual resource or subject matter specialist to cross-functional projects
  • Facilitate technical resources to deliver technology solutions in support of key product initiatives by working closely with functional leaders, business and product owners, architects, engineers, quality assurance, UX/design, and product operations
  • Work within and across business units to prioritize, plan, and execute the project objectives and schedule
  • Manage multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity and magnitude
  • Execute initiatives and drive accountability for the accomplishment of work deliverables and critical path milestones


  • On a daily basis works closely together with product owners, architects, engineers, quality assurance, and UX/design
  • Provide transparency and visibility through appropriate communication mechanisms (e.g. dashboards, status meetings, etc.) to all stakeholders
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Required Skills
  • 5+ years of Technical Project Management Experience
  • Must be a Certified Scrum Master (SCM)
  • 4+ years of recent experience managing Agile Scrum projects as a Scrum Master
  • Experience in Scrum and Kanban methodologies and best practices required in Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience with managing projects and teams through JIRA, a plus
  • Seasoned in managing complex data/systems integration and analytics projects
  • Ability to drive to solutions, and alternatives, reach a consensus, control scope creep, drive into technical detail, and match technical skills to technical needs.
  • Proven track record of meeting resource planning and scheduling while still meeting or exceeding business requirements and goals
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Ability to thrive and think creatively when given a wide degree of latitude to manage projects
  • Excellent communicator and people leader
  • Pro-active self-starter who is comfortable working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
