Digital Marketing Specialist- SEO/PPC

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and innovative Digital Marketing Specialist to help increase our organic rankings and optimize our PPC performance by offering strategic insights and swift, results-driven execution.
Our marketers analyze data using robust techniques in order to make recommendations or optimizations. We are looking for an innovative individual to explore new initiatives, propose process improvements, and test new marketing channels and/or vendors.
Areas of focus:
• Achieve and maintain top rankings on major search engines through development and execution of SEO strategies in a very competitive industry
• Develop and optimize landing pages and conversion funnel tests using A/B and multivariate testing methodologies to improve conversion rates
• Manage relationships with external SEO and PPC agencies/partners to establish and implement link development, and execute other projects
• Perform keyword research and analysis for organic search
• Provide ongoing reports on SEO and PPC metrics: ranking, web site traffic, conversions, profitability, etc.
• Monitor trends on SEO and PPC best practices and techniques to ensure top website ranking and market efficiency, as well as identify new opportunities
• Continue alignment with social media strategies as an asset to SEO rankings
• Develop and execute comprehensive strategy across all paid search channels (search network, display network, retargeting, mobile ads, etc.)
• Create, manage, test and analyze paid search campaigns from development, to testing and execution
• Manage daily optimization for each paid search channel, ensuring optimal volume within acceptable cost/profit targets
• Develop and optimize ad tests to isolate key converting messages, efficiently guiding cross-functional teams (creative, legal, tech) to project completion
You’re right for this job if you have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, or other business-related field of study
• 2-4 years of experience in online marketing
• Direct SEO experience with understanding of search engine ranking algorithms and crawlers
• Strong analytical skills, as well as a passion for problem solving and working cross-functionally to identify opportunities and resolve them
• Highly self-motivated with proven ability to manage multiple projects, drive hard to completion, and deliver meaningful results
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal. Exhibit ability to organize thoughts, communicate professionally and concisely
• Ability to combine data from multiple sources and manipulate to analyze and interpret business performance
• Ability to visualize data to make information more easily understood
• Eagerness to develop new marketing skills and business acumen
• Solid Microsoft Excel experience required
• Basic HTML knowledge needed (CSS and other coding is a plus)
