MAIN COURSE (Job Responsibilities):Digital Product Owners at Pampered Chef are the spoon that mixes the batter. This crucial role requires both technical and business acumen and will be expected to lead initiatives and influence outcomes across teams. Our product owners help lead his or her team using agile delivery methodology and by leveraging ecommerce best practices.
This role’s primary focus is connecting Pampered Chef Independent Consultants with their customers and leads. Interfaces and technology to manage contacts and communication channels including email, SMS, social messaging, and online commerce are the focus of this product manager’s sprint team.
Key responsibilities include:
- You’ll be creating and evangelizing a product strategy, vision, and roadmap that align to company goals and objectives
- You’ll be providing rationale and high-level business case for features and enhancements
- You’ll be clearly communicating scope and plans to sprint team members, user experience team members and stakeholders
- You’ll be making trade-offs between speed, value and customer experience across iterations and feature options
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years product experience in ecommerce or SAAS solutions, experience with email service providers a plus
- Passion for and experience with building world-class-best products that will enable significant business growth
- Empathy for customers and desire to research and observe as often as possible
- Creative and collaborative problem solving skills
- Bias toward action
- Comfort communicating unpopular decisions and setting clear expectations about scope – ability to say no
- Love of data and desire to quantify opportunities and value delivered
