POSITION OVERVIEW
The Digital Project Manager must be an influencer with strong project management and production expertise to bring engaging digital solutions to life. Candidates should have strong knowledge in digital technologies and understand what it takes to plan and execute digital initiatives. They must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a keen interest and passion for digital and interactive technologies.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader that will manage expectations, coordinate cross-functional project teams, plus ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and on value to exceed client expectations. Most importantly, the Digital Project Manager must be detail-oriented, readily available and flexible to appropriately respond to client needs under aggressive timelines. The ability to operate in an agile fashion is critical when it comes to creating and adapting plans, schedules and overall project activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively manage multiple projects across multiple clients, while remaining flexible to unexpectedly adapt to the evolving project needs
  • Scope, develop and manage timelines and budgets for digital projects
  • Clearly identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks
  • Partner with Creative, Client Services and Production to ensure client objectives are met
  • Work collaboratively with team members to author creative briefs, strategic roadmaps and research findings reports
  • A reputation for being an outstanding verbal and visual communicator
  • Oversee the execution of digital campaigns and activations
  • Manage content for websites, mobile apps and registration forms
  • Manage and coordinate developers and third party vendors to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget
  • Forecast, track and manage project budgets, digital project briefs/SOWs and vendor invoices in relation to projects
  • Oversee digital execution from concept to development, in addition to on-site deployment for related event or activation
  • Contribute to the strategic vision of the final product

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree is required
  • 2+ years digital project management or digital production experience preferably in an agency setting
  • Preferred background in or strong knowledge of technical development and production
  • Superior organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to develop and adhere to detailed project timelines
  • Ability to understand and develop project documentation—including SOWs, production requests and information architecture
  • Experience managing productive relationships with clients and vendors
  • Professional and personable communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Understanding and interest in latest internet technologies and digital innovation
  • Keen attention to detail, and strong digital visual aesthetic skills in relation to UX and layout
  • Experience using web-based content management tools and form builders
  • Workamajig experience a plus!
  • Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Comfortable working on Mac OS
  • Must be able to travel if needed

This position is located in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Relocation is not provided.
