As Director of Strategic Alliances, you will own the strategic alliance roadmap for the company, whether it is an opportunity to enhance our product offering by integrating with outside technology, referral agreements to expand the reach of our sales efforts, or integration partners to help new clients with additional resources maximizing the value of their PowerReviews solution. You will stay up to date with the changing market dynamics, work with functional teams across the company, develop strong partner relationships, and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Build and own the strategic alliance roadmap for PowerReviews
Stay up to date on the market landscape
Work with the leadership team to prioritize areas of opportunity
Source and sign strategic alliance relationships
Define the business case for potential partnerships
Work with business teams to identify and vet potential alliances
Build relationships within the industry and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements
Ensure successful ongoing strategic alliance relationships
Track key alliance KPIs to measure the effectiveness of each relationship
Follow through to operationalize the alliance across both companies
Other duties as needed
Follow up on inbound alliance/partnership requests
Negotiate key vendor contracts with business teams
Preferred Skills and Requirements
Bachelors Degree
Creative and energetic personality
5+ years of business development, partnership, strategic alliance or sales experience
Comfortable with building expertise in enterprise level technology solutions
Experience building compelling business cases
Constant focus on activities that will have the greatest overall company impact
Established contacts in the marketing / ecommerce world
- Travel approximately 15-25% of the time
