 Director of Operations, Techweek

Director of Operations and Account Management

Techweek is a venture-capital backed Techweek festival and media company operating in eight markets throughout North America. We believe in spreading tech entrepreneurship to build a better world by convening local ecosystems. To do this our festivals are community driven celebrating the tech leaders, highlighting the latest products, and following the most relevant trends.  

The Summit & Festival team is searching for a Director of Operations and Account Management. This role would focus on managing and executing the logistics of the festival in each market while owning client relationships post a sale. The Director of Operations would be tasked with building process and structure along with executing eight events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client operations: Serve as the key client contact and own client service relationships for multiple accounts
  • Establish and track key deliverables: Ensure high satisfaction among sponsor brands
  • Build operational infrastructure: Work directly with leadership to design a “go to market” execution playbook for all evets
  • Own vendor relationships: Source and manage strategic vendor relationships in each market 
  • Execute event logistics: Execute all festival and summit events including Techweek operations and sponsor account deliverables
  • International & domestic travel: Director of Operations and Account Management will travel with the Techweek team to every market
