Position description
- Set strategy and execute recruitment and retention efforts — including outreach at career fairs, developing partnerships with key networks, identifying professional development opportunities and much more
- Lead all cultural initiatives — from happy hours and company outings to office perks and other incentives
- Work with senior leadership to develop and maintain employee handbooks, training manuals, onboarding programs, 360 reviews and HR surveys
- Coordinate with marketing team on employee branding efforts — including monitoring Glassdoor, posting on job boards, maintaining careers webpage, overseeing inventory of branded merchandise and offering ideas for social media campaigns
- Manage travel logistics among our international offices — including serving as the property manager of our Chicago apartment
- Assist with any workspace renovations/improvements or office moves as they arise
- Handle other administrative tasks as needed
Required qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 7+ years of experience in recruitment, HR, operations or other related area
- Track record of successful recruitment, particularly in the areas of data science and engineering
- Direct experience setting and managing budgets
Necessary skills and abilities
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize and handle time efficiently
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
- Passion for social media and advertising
