You are the Director of Project Management with a relentless focus on managing the team’s effective delivery of remarkable mobile experiences. You are an expert at operational efficiencies and have a positive, solution-oriented mindset that helps foster collaborative, team growth and development. You are a planner with an eye for details and documentation to ensure the projects your team manages are delivered smoothly, on time and on budget. The ideal candidate is great communicator and mentor with a passion for the creative and technology process required to produce smart mobile solutions.

This is a full-time position located in downtown Chicago at 300 West Adams.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and delivery of mobile marketing solutions that drive revenue, delight clients and differentiate Vibes in the market
- Collaborate with the creative, analytics, technology and customer success teams to help define improved processes, document best practices and create more consistency from project to project.
- Directly initiate and help plan for new, large customer engagements - gather and define project goals, business requirements and outline best solutions within those parameters.
- Be able to independently lead and manage all aspects of complex large projects when needed: scope, issues/risks, project plans, resourcing, quality assurance, team & customer communications
- Ensure successful project results across customers by coordinating with all relevant roles, departments & business units.
- Maximize the efficiency & optimization of the team made up of user experience architects, front end & back end developers, designers and analysts.
- Serves as point of escalation for all delivery related issues within MSG.
- Collaborate with key internal clients across Sales and Customer Success, building relationships across all levels and departments in the company
- Stay abreast of company product roadmap innovations & timelines as well as mobile marketing industry trends & game changers
Relevant experience:
- You’ve worked directly with customers, client teams, creative and development teams to help lead the definition of project requirements and goals for web and/or mobile web experiences at a SaaS company, agency or other technology related company.
- You’ve lead complex technical projects with internal team partners from inception through execution with clear direction, documentation, deliverables and timelines.
- You’ve continually provided visibility & transparency into the progress of yours or your team’s projects with multiple stakeholders to ensure all parties are aligned.
- You’ve led a team of project managers for the last several years, functioning as a strong mentor and leader.
- You’ve gathered and tracked lessons learned from previous efforts and applied those to ensure delivery of subsequent projects your team managed is more successful than the last.
- You’ve been a positive champion for teamwork, collaboration and communication throughout the projects you and your team manage.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 9-12 years experience managing multiple large, complex and cross functional digital/mobile projects, preferably in a technology, SaaS, consulting or digital agency environment.
- BS or BA in marketing, business or related field required, PMP certification required. Master's degree preferred but not required.
- Expert knowledge of one or more of the following: software development life cycles, mobile web technologies, web development processes and the delivery of solutions delivery of solutions with creative and engineering components.
- Proven success managing and delivering various types of customized and innovative digital services solutions for Fortune 500 clients.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate staff/project/account team, inspire teamwork amongst various groups and with clients.
- Demonstrated success building relationships across departments & levels of the organization through proactive communication and partnership.
- Extraordinary team player and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment where quality, innovation, speed of decision making and execution are critical to organizational success
- Outstanding project management, resource management, communication & organizational skills. Both written and verbal.
- Superior MS Office and MS Project expertise. Knowledge of collaboration and workflow tools such as basecamp, wiki, jira, float, google docs, smartsheet.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, high-detail, deadline-sensitive projects with a high level of quality in all deliverables.
- Passion for innovation and efficiency: proven track record implementing internal process improvements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete large volumes of work efficiently and effectively
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the emerging mobile space & relevant experience in social media, new communication mediums & CRM also desired
