G2 Crowd is looking for a high-energy, driven sales manager to lead our team of top performing Account Executives and drive team performance to meet and exceed quotas. The role will involve coaching and training our B2B sales professionals and managing the pipeline of sales for the SMB and Mid-Market team from lead to close. This person must be goal-oriented and determined to exceed set quotas with a winning team. 

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and coach a team of Account Executives 
  • Track and develop Account Executive performance 
  • Manage the pipeline of activity and health in Salesforce CRM 
  • Lead by example - help foster key accounts and customers 
  • Create high performance training programs for new sales reps 
  • Motivate Account Executives to exceed annual goals and retain top performers 
  • Lead team meetings 
  • Take part in cross-department meetings and projects 
  • Report on sales activity and forecast

  • You have 5+ years of experience leading a sales team selling to SMB and Mid-Market accounts 
  • You have a proven ability to meet and exceed team quotas 
  • You have a proven ability to manage the sales cycle from plan to close

  • You have the ability to maintain a high level of activity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a results-driven culture 
  • You have a natural sales instinct and can negotiate your way to “Yes” 
  • You can command a presentation and lead a large meeting 
  • You have outstanding communication and listening skills 
  • You are competitive and can lead a winning team 
  • You have a bachelor’s degree 
  • Start-up experience is a plus
