Director of Strategic Partnerships
The Director of Strategic Partnerships will be the primary marketing and sales focal point between PowerReviews and its strategic partners, including ecommerce platform software companies, ecommerce marketing agencies, systems integrators, and others. The Director of Strategic Partnerships will build and manage marketing programs to serve both partners and customers. Our ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, working in the SaaS industry with experience with the following objectives:
Identify, research, and explore new market opportunities for PowerReviews
Build relationships with existing and potential partner companies
Negotiate agreements involving multiple stakeholders to solve business problems
Share market feedback with product, engineering, and customer support teams
Use analytical skills and tools to measure effectiveness of business development programs
Key Accountabilities
Analyze market opportunities with partners and prospective partners to prioritize marketing investments and resources
Become an expert on our product, our competition and the markets in which we compete
Develop, maintain, and grow an ecosystem of partners, with clear messaging, priorities, objectives, and plans for each partner
Develop and maintain PowerReviews presence on Partner websites, intranets, sales trainings and other communications opportunities
Develop relationships, strategies and programs to develop goodwill into pipeline and revenue
With marketing, create sales tools and collateral for Partner and PowerReviews sales forces and customers
With marketing and partners, develop and execute campaigns to create awareness and generate demand
Manage lead tracking for partner-generated leads
Requirements & Preferred Skills
Bachelors Degree
Creative and energetic personality
5 + years experience managing partner management, business development, sales, or marketing related teams
Proven track record of successfully identifying and recruiting new strategic partners
Experience working with senior leadership
Experience negotiating partnership agreements and other complex legal contracts
Experience in ecommerce, retail, marketing and/or Cloud/SaaS a plus
Established contacts in the marketing / ecommerce world
Previous experience building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior business leaders
Strong project management background and expertise
Must have a solid understanding of marketing programs, events, and promotions, as well as experience in developing partner marketing plans
Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
