Reporting directly to the SVP of Sales, you will be responsible for managing a team of Account Managers and team leads as well the overall engagement of our SMB network of clients.

What you will do:

  • Direct the development and execution of all account management processes, tools and training.

  • Work with the Account Managers to achieve retention, revenue, and Net Promoter Score goals for assigned client accounts

  • Analyze customer needs and identify additional opportunities to implement best practices and stimulate account growth

  • Acting as a customer advocate within the organization, identifying future software requirements, industry trends and opportunities to make product recommendations for product development and product management teams

  • Partner effectively with all departments including product management, engineering, finance, marketing, sales, business development and human resources, to effectively deliver outstanding customer experiences to our clients

  • Select, manage, coach and motivate client-facing account management team members to build relationships and drive improved operational results for our customers

  • Foster a culture of client-centricity, and stimulating professional growth and development within the organization through active performance management to create and maintain a high performance account management team

  • Efficient at working with data and reporting analytics to plan and strategize resource-deployment, and execute fast solutions

  • Work with sales management to better transition accounts to the account management team, identify opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Build merchant engagement through coaching and selling the value of the Belly platform

  • Develop and maintain strong rapport with existing and new merchants: Develop relationships with loyal clients: ask for their feedback and provide feedback for the purpose of enhancing the quality of service

  • Be flexible and excited about adapting to new situations, responsibilities, and an ever-changing startup environment

  • Train and empower the team to upsell to existing customer accounts based on client’s needs, ensuring team goals are met and exceeded

What you need:

  • 5+ years of Account Management experience

  • 5+ years of senior management experience

  • Salesforce power user, dashboards, opportunities, leads, reporting tools, etc.
