Role:

 

Avatria is looking for a strong project delivery leader to drive our eCommerce implementation programs to success. As a project manager with Avatria’s Services group you will apply management and ecommerce expertise to orchestrate all aspects of a project’s delivery and provide value for our clients. You are an ideal candidate if you are energized by the opportunity to decompose problems and bring clarity to a complex web of interdependent work streams. You believe that this clarity is wasted if it isn’t documented, communicated, and understood by everyone from individual contributors to the client’s executive team. You can build a plan that will guide a skilled team to deliver their best, but you are pragmatic and poised in the face of obstacles and have the intuition to know when to execute course corrections. 

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed plans to manage large, complex implementations with multiple tracks of work delivered by diverse teams (i.e. multiple domains, across geographies, third parties)
  
• Ultimately responsible for successful project delivery that achieves measurable business results for our clients
  
• Own and control the scope, schedule and budget for the overall project
  
• Preemptively identify risks and create mitigation plans to help ensure project success
  
• Communicate project status and open issues to senior leadership team on a regular basis and establish rapport and trust with these key stakeholders
  

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience leading and managing large ecommerce implementations in waterfall or agile methodologies
  
• Expertise with eCommerce concepts and functionality, preferably in both B2C and B2B domains
  
• Comfortable communicating with business leaders and executives in client facing roles
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Experience with software platforms such as Hybris, Oracle Commerce (ATG), or Demandware is preferred
