Vivid Seats is seeking resourceful, inquisitive, and innovative candidates for the role of Email Marketing Coordinator. As a key part of our cutting-edge Email Marketing and Customer Relationship team, the Email Marketing Coordinator will be involved in every step of our email campaigns—serving as our fans' guide to the best upcoming shows and sports matchups.

The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy and demonstrate wit in writing and a keen eye for email layout and design. From development to implementation, they will focus on delivering relevant, timely email messages to fans, often on tight deadlines. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working independently or with a team in a fast-paced, yet supportive entrepreneurial environment.

Exercise every part of your brain:

  • Creative responsibilities:
    • Write engaging and compelling email subject lines and body copy
    • Create visually rich email content on a wide range of topics in sports, concerts, and theater
    • Discover new ways to engage past buyers and nurture customer loyalty
  • Technical responsibilities:
    • Utilize ExactTarget and other email marketing technologies to send large numbers of emails to subscribers on a daily basis
    • Design and code emails using HTML
    • Program automated campaigns and find ways to create one-to-one email sends on a large scale
  • Analytical responsibilities:
    • Compile and review past email metrics for insights into ways to improve future performance
    • Test and optimize campaigns to improve the email program

Who we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in running commercial email campaigns and driving sales using ExactTarget or a similar email service provider
  • Proficiency with Dreamweaver HTML editing software
  • Enthusiasm and skill in problem-solving and adapting to new technologies and processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a creative, concise, and pithy writing style
  • A resourceful and detail-oriented personality with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects independently
  • Ability to take ideas and run with them
