Position Purpose: 


Cision is growing and this team is brand new to Cision. Serving as an integral part of the sales team, the Business Development Specialist will sell the Connect product line services in a specified geographic area. Our Connect services focus on the distribution of news and branded content and the measurement of the contents performance.

The Job: 




  • Master our software platform



  • Call and consult with some of the largest brands in the world


  • Become an industry expert and immerse yourself in the worlds of PR, Marketing and Media




  • Hit the phones hard to convert cold and warm leads into new business opportunities




  • Build and maintain your pipeline of prospects to meet monthly quotas




  • Develop relationships with senior team members to deliver a seamless customer experience




 You Have:



  • 0-3 years solutions-based sales experience (software industry a major plus!)


  • Proven success prospecting and making outbound sales calls




  •  Consistently exceeding your goals and quotas




  •  Expertise communicating via phone, email, webinar and face-to- face




  •  Hustle and determination




  •  Ability to adapt to new situations quickly in an ever-changing industry
