Our Story:
dscout began as an experiment by Gravitytank, a Chicago-based innovation firm. Gravitytank has long been a pioneer in using new methods to conduct in-context research, and began experimenting with phones and apps as an alternate way to capture experiences. Gravitytank spun dscout out as a standalone service in 2011.
What we're looking for:
We are looking for a Enterprise Sales Representative to drive revenue of dscout’s enterprise research platform. This person will be focusing outbound efforts to “top target” clients by sourcing leads, working with marketing on Account Based Marketing initiatives, and managing the opportunity funnel to close new business. We are looking for a motivated “hunter” mentality that wants to exceed their goals, talk to new people, and add to dscout’s amazing client list.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sales opportunities by identifying stakeholders and managing the opportunity funnel
- Connect with key decision makers and thought leaders at some of the biggest brands in the world
- Demo the dscout platform in creative customized ways to build value and tell a compelling story
- Work with prospects to build solutions that allows them to create strategies and make informed decisions about their customers, competitors, and products
- Listen, identify and understand the needs of prospect to create a solution that dscout can solve
- Lead prospects to an understanding of the options that are applicable to their situation, demonstrating how features and benefits match their needs
- Be able to build relationships with multiple stake holders and influence them in a positive way.
- Actively seek out new sales leads and business opportunities through active networking and utilizing business referrals
- Willing to work on cross-functional project teams to win new business, maintain current business and support the dscout team
Requirements:
- Top 10% of the sales people in your current company/division. You are someone who pursues your passions with energy and commitment.
- Minimum 5 years of enterprise software sales
- 25-30% Travel
- Experience closing complex sales cycles in a consultative manner with F1000
- Thrives in a fast pace, constantly changing environment
- Analytical thinking skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Stellar oral and written communication skills
