About the role

Want to jumpstart your sales career at one of the top 10 B2B sales and marketing agencies in the country? You’re in luck: The Mx Group is hiring an entry-level new business development representative. You’ll gain firsthand experience with the B2B sales process and industry best practices, all while helping to grow The Mx Group by driving new business for our agency.

In this role, you’ll build your sales skills by reaching out to suspects, prospects and qualified leads in our sales funnel. You’ll bring a positive, engaging presence to every call, giving these decision-makers an excellent first impression of our agency. From there, you’ll help identify whether the prospect fits our criteria. Finally, you’ll “close” by setting an appointment with the assigned salesperson.

This entry-level position offers a base salary plus commission. It’s a great opportunity to build your sales skill set and get a foot in the door of this exciting industry.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Engaging, professional, enthusiastic demeanor
• Friendly and welcoming over the phone
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable
• Excellent attention to detail
• 1–2 years of sales experience preferred
