This is where YOU come in:

Any executive assistant knows it’s hard to define their day-to-day since often times they are expected to jump in whenever, wherever and here at Enova it’s no different. This role involves co-supporting our Senior VP-Operations and our General Counsel and her legal team, as well as undertaking receptionist and other administrative responsibilities. We’ll be looking at you to maintain the executives’ professional calendar with arranging appointments and meetings, as well as provide some personal administrative assistance for the Senior VP.  There will be occasions where you will be generating ad hoc reports for the executives.  

 

Along with the executive support, we’ll expect you to staff one of our three reception areas as well as keep us stocked with free food (our favorite perk!) by ordering and stocking multiple break rooms and placing lunch orders on a daily/weekly basis. Despite our progressive culture and reliance on laptops, we still need the basic office supplies from time to time and will be coming to you with those requests.

  1. C-Level Communication: Effective verbal and written communication in any job is crucial. Here you will learn how to concisely communicate with all levels of our organization only the most important details and not get bogged down with the unnecessary points.

 

  1. Problem Solving and Decision Making: You will have a valuable opportunity to learn the thought process behind our SVP’s decision making and improve your own problem solving and decision making skills.

 

  1. Exposure to launching new products: Our SVP has a successful track record of starting multiple global businesses within Enova from scratch. You will witness firsthand how we build new products, hire new talent to support these launches, and the secrets to making the new business successful.

 

  1. Supporting a legal team: Our legal team supports every other Enova team so you’ll be exposed to a wide variety of projects that could use your administrative and organizational assistance. Do you have paralegal experience or want to develop some? You can try your hand at some projects to develop those skills.

 

  1. Reception and administration: These roles are vital to Enova’s day-to-day operations. You’ll be the face that greets visitors and the glue that keeps everything stuck together.

 

You’re right for this job if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (from a top undergraduate program preferred)
  • 0-5 years of administrative experience, preferably supporting a senior leader
    • We know that’s a broad range, but we’re willing to consider an entry-level champ with the drive, hunger and passion just as equally as an experienced administrative professional with the same gusto
  • Intermediate familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Guru of managing complex calendars along with booking travel (domestic and/or international) and creating travel itineraries
  • Willingness to be accessible beyond the standard 40-hour work week
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the critical ability think proactively
  • Strong communication – succinct and direct (both written and verbal)
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple-shifting priorities
  • A passion for organizing the messy, the mentality that no request is beneath you, the eye to catch and fix mistakes, and the ownership to drive projects from start to finish

 

 Kudos to you if you have:

  • Previously supported at the VP level or above
  • Experience booking international travel
  • Advanced experience in the full Microsoft Office Suite
