As an Executive Associate, you will work directly with the VP of Engineering. You will be working on the strategic prioritization of key projects and management of critical issues to ensure attention and focus of the leadership team. This Executive Associate will help to ease decision-making by serving as a reliable, trusted and fair channel for all stakeholders. They will also ensure alignment and timeline support the overall business strategy.  

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct administrative and operational aspects of the department on behalf of the executive.
• Act as the main contact between the executive and employees/stakeholders.
• Attend all executive team meetings; coordinate next actions, and manage follow-ups.
• Design, organize, and oversee comprehensive management of projects with ambiguous and changing requirements.
• Provide presentation support, including but not limited to: company-wide meetings, annual product release conference, board meetings, etc.
• Regularly create, submit, and interpret reports to the executive.
• Maintain understanding of overall business objectives and strategy.
• Suggest problem resolution approaches and procedures.
• Take on other (ad-hoc) responsibilities as directed by the executive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in a project management or consulting role.
• Knowledge of software industry preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to read people and connect with various audiences and departments.
• Highly credible, collaborative, and resourceful style with the ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Extremely trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential matters and sensitive information situations with discretion.
• Executive presence demonstrating comfort speaking internally or externally on behalf of the executive.
• Ability to problem solve, prioritize, negotiate and juggle changing deadlines.
