As a HR Generalist, you will be a member of our internal Human Resources team assisting with day-to-day operations and people relations. You would report directly to our Director of HR helping with everything from onboarding to process integration.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering Human Resources support including benefits, administration, payroll, compensation, employee relations, and employee onboarding
- Addressing and resolving routine employee relations concerns
- Collaborating on complex employee relations concerns
- Understanding, articulating and interpreting firm policies and procedures
- Provide direction and guidance in support of Uptake’s values and standards
- Assisting HR team with the creation, design, development and implementation of human resource programs and services
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state legislation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-6 years experience in a technology company where you have supported developers
- Understands best practices as it relates to benefits, progressive discipline, HR policy and procedure, and employment law
- Understands best practices when it comes to coaching both individual contributors and management staff
- Experience in all facets of HR including benefits, employee relations, coaching, compensation, performance management, and training
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and passionate about Human Resources and Talent in the workplace
- Flexibility to operate in a constantly evolving and fast paced environment
- Embody the values of an Uptake employee
- Experience in a start up environment is preferred
