We are currently seeking a detail oriented Human Resources & Talent Coordinator to join our Talent & Development team. The top candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, knowledge of HR and recruitment principles, and a proven track record getting results in a team environment and independently.

This position is a contract-to-hire role and will report into the Manager of Talent & Development and is located in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Enhance Vibes employment brand in the talent community by demonstrating exceptional candidate communication. You are candidates’ first impression of Vibes and therefore, positive energy, sound judgment and outstanding communication are a must!
  • Own scheduling of all phone and live interviews for intern to executive level candidates
  • Manage travel and lodging arrangements for candidates out of state
  • Manage Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Support recruiting efforts by printing, screening and routing resumes
  • Publish and maintain job descriptions to various professional networks according to recruitment needs
  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives and add value through continuous candidate sourcing ideas
  • Creatively source for open roles and pipelining efforts, using multiple channels to recruit and expand our employer brand
  • Prepares and distributes all interview related material to interview team members and candidate

Learning & Development

  • Schedules meetings and coordinates all Vibes Accelerate training sessions
  • Tracks and collects all employee survey feedback data
  • Support Manager, Talent & Development with Vibes Accelerate future initiatives
  • Report on training activity (DiSC), attendance, and metrics for each session
  • Oversees all onsite and offsite classroom set-up including reserving/arranging specific equipment needed
  • Distribute all training material needed for sessions
  • Tracking of all staff external training requests

People Analytics

  • Assist in generating basic reports from HR systems and analyze data in Excel
  • Support ad-hoc projects, reporting, data analysis, and information requests
  • Participate in HR systems testing and auditing of internal filing activities from an HR administration perspective
  • Create presentations, build and manage spreadsheets and assist with department charts/data

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field preferred
  • Prior work experience in an Administrative, Talent Acquisition/Recruitment or Human Resources role preferred
  • Ambition to advance and have an impactful career in HR & OD
  • Quick learner and ability to understand complex, technology roles
  • Must know MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Prior experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS is a plus
  • Must be organized, motivated and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to juggle multiple projects and work well under deadlines
  • Strong communication, project management and critical thinking skill
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete large volumes of work efficiently and effectively
  • Professional, reliable, driven and results-oriented
