What You’ll Do:

As an HRIS Analyst, you will be responsible for the enablement of People solutions through system administration, configuration, end-to-end business process mapping, requirements gathering, system design, testing and business enablement. The role will act as an HRIS subject matter expert and partner with other members of the People Team to provide ongoing counsel. This position will report to the Benefits and System Leader.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Understand functional People processes within a regional/global scope.
  • Define end-to-end mapping of business processes and functional flows.
  • Serve as a business capability enabler.
  • Understand business process impacts and act as a visible Change Agent for new capabilities.
  • Obtain requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios and other relevant techniques.
  • Configure People systems in support of ongoing projects and enhancements.
  • Manage test plan and strategy in order to map the business requirements and support User Acceptance/Integration testing.
  • Develop and manages data integrations across multiple applications.
  • Analyze business processes and provide guidance relative to technology trends and strategy.
  • Provide technical advice and education to functional partners.
  • Assist management team in providing influential counsel to executives and functional leaders.
  • Understand technology strategy with People business domain knowledge in order to architect the business processes and solutions.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and functional leads to intake, review, prioritize and implement system enhancements.
  • Maintain capabilities of current People system platforms in alignment with business needs 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience. Combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
  • Prior experience implementing and configuring HR systems required.
  • Ability to develop strategic partnerships with business customers.
  • Ability to collaborate with vendors, business stakeholders and cross-functional resources/teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Experience in change management preferred.

Location

We are located in River North just right off the Chicago Brown Line stop. We also provide you with a free shuttle service to/from Ogilvie and Union.
