Unique Opportunity with a Healthcare Technology leader

Analyte Health is seeking a strategic HR Manager to establish Analyte’s Human Resources & Organizational Development team.  The top candidate will possess strong business partnership experience, full life cycle recruiting, knowledge of all HR functional areas, organizational development experience, and bring drive, smarts, and integrity to our team. We are seeking an energetic professional with high career potential that has demonstrated success recruiting top talent in high-growth tech and guiding the culture to optimize that talent. Analyte is in growth mode and in 2016, the candidate we place will be 25% focused on recruitment across customer facing and non-customer facing roles and 25% focused on developing the right organizational structural to support this growth.

This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to an exciting and critical chapter in Analyte’s growth and success and join a progressive HR & OD department. This position will report directly to the VP of Finance and HR located in downtown Chicago at 328 S. Jefferson Street.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Continuously bring forward ideas and action plans to ensure Analyte attracts, develops and retains top performers
  • Manage recruitment, including search strategy & sourcing, screening, behavioral interviewing, hiring manager partnership, offers & offer negotiation across multiple levels & departments
  • Manage employee orientation and on boarding process for all new hires
  • Own and manage HR administration including new employee paperwork, employment verifications, coordination with Finance, employee files, Visa sponsorship and HRIS
  • Ownership of multiple HR & OD strategic programs including Employee Satisfaction “pulse” and action items, monthly HR newsletter, and talent brand marketing and social media strategy
  • Own the employee benefits program, including annual open enrollment process, vendor management, and supervision of day-to day benefits administration & operations in collaboration with Analyte’s Finance team
  • Be seen as a value add partner and management coach for new and developing managers
  • Be a primary contributor in design and implementation of new company-wide OD initiatives and iterating and evolving existing programs to support company changes and growth
  • Assist with company management and leadership development training as part of company-wide development program
  • Be seen as a leader within the company as a result of your energy, positivity, solution orientation, ownership, collaboration, smarts, and passion for growth and improvement
  • HR & OD business partner for multiple departments including both customer facing and all operations teams (Finance, Marketing, Medical, Product, Service Delivery, and Technology)
  • Lead and manage both the annual company-wide employee performance review and merit increase process and the customer facing performance review process
  • Manage HR and talent management tracking and reporting
  • Continually elevate internal brand of HR and OD department as strategic business partners

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years HR Generalist experience in fast paced high growth companies
  • 5+ years Full Service Recruitment experience including technology and manager-level recruitment experience
  • Experience in a startup environment preferably high tech
  • Consultative HR experience managing HR and OD plans and objectives with department leaders
  • Previous employee benefits evaluation and management experience
  • High level of self-awareness and demonstrated ability to accept and apply feedback for personal and professional growth
  • Proven track record of effective partnership with department managers and leaders as evidenced by a passion for their teams and those teams’ challenges and opportunities
  • Ability to think several steps ahead, develop contingency plans and adjust when needed
  • Good listener balanced with ability to “push back” and challenge constructively
  • Demonstrated success building an HR team plus managing & mentoring junior HR & OD professionals
  • Previous management development coaching and training experience a plus
  • Proven track record designing and managing employee orientation
  • Experience tracking & reporting HR metrics including headcount, turnover, recruitment metrics, and more
  • Experience creating, vetting and implementing new HR & OD processes, technologies and tools to increase department efficiency
  • Organized, motivated and detail-oriented
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and work well under deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete large volumes of work efficiently and effectively
