Due to the exciting growth potential of this market we seek to hire a highly motivated, collaborative and disciplined Inside Sales Manager based in Chicago. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing the Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing two sales teams that will sell Caremerge’s award-winning care coordination solution to senior care organizations nationwide. One team will consist of Account Development Managers whose primary focus is to upsell existing clients. The second team will consist of SMB Account Executives who will be responsible for selling to new prospects that are mid-sized (5-10) locations. This position will be responsible for collaborating with the VP of Sales to create and execute an overall sales and go to market plan for both teams. The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales team activity including but not limited to, activity tracking, territory management, delivering sales presentations, understanding prospect critical business issues, advancing qualified opportunities through the pipeline and negotiating and closing business. The Inside Sales Manager will own sales quota for both groups. The ideal candidate will have an inclusive and collaborative work style and strong integration with Marketing, Lead Qualification and Client Experience Teams will be necessary to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Hire, develop, and manage highly efficient and productive sales teams

- Develop business strategies and processes for both teams

- Provide sales and product training/coaching and ramp new hires to production quickly

- Oversee all new/expansion sales opportunities from qualified leads to close

- Oversee the delivery web based sales meetings and client proposals

- Manage team documentation of all prospect interactions, critical business issues and record progress through SalesForce.com

- Manage team capture of all relevant market feedback in Salesforce.com and share with Caremerge executives

- Maintain up-to-date and accurate sales pipeline and forecasts for both teams

- Maintain an active pipeline 3X quota at all times for both teams

- Meet monthly sales activity targets for both teams

- Help develop and refine sales approach to increase conversion rates

- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Caremerge’s products, relevant industry trends, and competitive dynamics

- Collaborate with Marketing Team, Lead Qualification and Client Experience Teams to increase prospect volume and client satisfaction

- Motivate team to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly and annual sales quotas

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from a recognized academic institution

- 5+ years’ experience in a B2B sales role; proven track record of sales success

- 2-5 years of successful experience as a sales manager (preferably inside)

- Experience in the software industry, SaaS experience is desirable

- Demonstrated track record as exceeding sales goals and team quotas

- Understanding of Senior Living and Long Term Care

- Experience in developing and executing sales and go to market plans

- Demonstrated attention to detail

- Excellent interpersonal, communication and persuasion skills

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

- Strong requirements gathering, presentation, negotiating and closing skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

- Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g. SalesForce.com)

- Previous experience in selling cloud-based software
