Overview:

TRG, the Results Group, performs inside sales functions for all tronc business units. The TRG Inside Sales Rep is responsible for seeking out new revenue and for maintaining and growing TRG customer accounts in order to exceed set sales goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify NEW prospects that result in NEW business revenue in addition to growing EXISTING customer accounts within their assigned vertical of business
  • Master the use of all sales tools – (CRM systems, research tools, windows programs, online meeting software and others)
  • Contact prospects/leads/accounts via telephone in order to persuade them to (either buy a product or service or agree to set an appointment with a sales representative)
  • Engage SMB decision makers in conversations regarding product or service; obtain and record information about potential customers, use to induce a sale/set an appointment
  • Skillfully overcome and professionally resolve any customer buying hesitation
  • Follow coaching guidelines and defined sales process to meet established goals
  • Apply feedback given to enhance success; Develop and grow personal skill set and knowledge of selling techniques and assigned products and services
  • Manage and prioritize leads as they progress through the sales process, while providing ample attention to current customers
  • Complete assigned work autonomously, with guidance from your leaders, as appropriate
  • Take ownership and accountability for sales numbers and customers/leads
  • Has revenue responsibility dependent on size of client/project

Directly manages no employees

 

Qualifications:
  • 4 year college degree or sales work experience
  • Possess extreme customer service
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • An entrepreneurial spirit
  • Superior communication skills
  • Persistence
  • Initiative
