POSITION SUMMARY
The learning consultant in this position will manage and deliver the analyst training programs at bswift. Uses a variety of educational media and a systematic instructional design methodology to design and develop sophisticated, state-of-the-art training tools and programs for designated bswift audiences; assesses and reports on the effectiveness and ROI of training programs
Fundamental Components:
- Consults with organizational senior leaders and work groups to develop complex, specialized learning strategies to improve organizational performance.
- Conducts performance analysis to determine the expectations and gaps for the intended audiences.
- Uses formal instructional design methodology to design and develop performance-based training and educational tools.
- Simultaneously manages multiple, complex projects.
- Develops and conducts follow-up assessments to determine the effectiveness and ROI of training programs.
- Works in partnership as appropriate with external vendors to deliver state-of-the-art, training tools and programs that meet the needs of multiple, diverse audiences and integrate effectively into Aetnas architecture.
- Communicates regularly with business partners and constituents to manage the rollout of training materials and gather feedback on program effectiveness.
- Incorporates feedback gathered from participants and other relevant audiences to improve training, processes and products.
- Effectively manages curriculum, reporting and other relevant administrative requirements through the Aetna Learning Center.
- Works under the direction of Aetnas learning governance group to develop and implement enterprise-wide learning standards, tools, templates and reporting requirements.
- Supports the development of skills within Aetnas learning community by managing and participating in the design, development and delivery of state-of-the-art learning methodologies and practices.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
Knowledge and application of performance-based instructional design methodologies adult learning principles.This position focuses on the management and delivery of the bswift analyst training programs. It will involve a working knowledge of bswift roles and operations. Desirable candidates will have this familiarity or will have a background that will enable a short learning curve.
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
