As a Grubhub Learning Solutions Associate Shared Resource, you create and/or deliver on strategic learning/training solutions that align with the business' strategy, close performance gaps, and appeal to diverse learning styles and engage all participants, including remote/virtual learners, assist in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures, content creation and delivery solutions. The LSA shared resource will spend a significant amount of their time on QA (content, chats, emails and phone conversations). Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
OVERVIEW:
- The Learning Solutions Associate will works across lines of business to create engaging learning activities and scalable content, which enhances retention and reduces knowledge gaps.
- Develop eLearning and Instructor led trainings programs for assigned departments and applications.
- Maintain documentation (wiki, course content, agendas) etc.
- Responsible for maintaining quality assurance program (monitoring calls, providing feedback, follow Grubhub’s QA metrics, etc.)
- Grading live phone calls to ensure consistent conversations
- Work closely with the leads to create new hire decks, creating scripts for videos
- Work with leads to determine department quality trends
- Assist in Managing monthly department communications
- Work across LOB in administrative functions for the learning platform.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic understanding of instructional design models.
- Basic knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System.
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Work across teams to ensure that content is effectively deployed and represented on the SOP wiki and internal learning portal(s), and other communications as needed
- Ability to QA content and the ability to QA live and recorded conversations to determine learning gaps and communication alignment
- Maintain, develop, and test user training materials for instructor-led training, self-paced sessions, and online training content
- Collaborate frequently with subject matter experts (SMEs) to assist with knowledge transfer and accuracy/quality of content and processes
- Manage and Builds training schedule of upcoming sessions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Communications or Education
- 2 years of experience with increasing responsibilities in Learning
- Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team.
- Experience communicating both verbally and in writing to various audiences.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Critical thinker, with understanding of critical mistakes analysis.
- Passionate about learning and utilizing new technologies to deliver effective training
- Strong writer with a critical eye for nuance, detail, and editorial principles
- Capable of analyzing and producing content through the eyes of a learner
- Knowledge of adult learning principles with the ability to apply course design techniques
- Enjoys working as part of a team in a collaborative environment
- Experience in using Articulate, Captivate or similar authoring tools.
