Local Marketing Manager
SpotHero is seeking a Local Marketing Manager to join our Chicago team. Reporting to the Midwest General Manager, you’ll own local user acquisition and be responsible for growing brand awareness in Chicago. You’ll create, execute, and measure marketing activities and develop partnerships designed to get more people parking with SpotHero. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capabilities in offline marketing, local advertising, event marketing, and partnerships. What you’ll do:
- Own local user acquisition
- Create, execute, and measure offline marketing initiatives
- Develop strategic partnerships with local organizations
- Manage events and street marketing activities
- Model and measure customer acquisition costs and customer lifetime value for all local marketing efforts
- Develop a local marketing playbook that can be leveraged in other markets

- Creative. You can come up with ideas and messaging that bridge the gap between partners and SpotHero for harmonious campaigns.
- Collaborative. Bringing marketing campaigns and partnerships to life requires effective cross-departmental planning, communication, and support between our Supply team, Customer Heroes, and Marketing.
- Organized. You have great follow through on tasks and superior organizational skills.
- Analytical. It’s a piece of cake for you to collect, analyze, and make decisions based on data in order to improve the effectiveness of our marketing.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years local marketing experience
- Demonstrated track record of offline user acquisition
- Deep local knowledge; an extensive network in Chicago is a plus
- Strong writing skills; samples are a plus
- Sales or business development experience is a plus
