ABOUT THE POSITION

The Manager of Innovation Programs facilitates and delivers our programming to educator, school, and district leaders.

REPORTS TO: The CEO

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Create a regional program delivery strategy and game plan (milestones, timeline, and budget) that meets the needs and interests of local educators

·       Facilitate programming geared towards education design and innovation 

·       Lead communications and grow relationships with educators, schools, and districts

·       Communicate expectations, timelines, and agendas; execute immediate follow up and follow through

·       Track progress, data, and outcomes in project systems; review program submissions and provide feedback

·       Engage in community events related to education innovation, build a map of the regional ecosystem, and enhance our understanding of pipeline programs and potential partners

·       Identify individuals primed for collaboration as supporting facilitators and expert coaches

·       Create, launch, and lead new opportunities to generate lasting community and connections among participating educators and alumni

·       Facilitate introductions, enhance knowledge-sharing, and develop easy ways for schools to share ideas and resources

·       Track and share insights for our internal continuous program improvement and iteration

·       Collect and analyze impact data to build our understanding of program efficacy

·       Self-starter and quick study; demonstrated problem-solver with a solutions-focused mindset

·       Thrives in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment, flexible and adaptable

·       Grit, drive, and passion, including a commitment to providing an excellent education for all students

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred

·       Min 3 years of professional experience; at least 1 year in a leadership role

·       Prior experience working in a school, district, or education-focused organization

PREFERABLE

·       Prior experience working in a start-up

·       A strong professional network that includes education leaders and entrepreneurs
