As Office Manager of our DC office, you will have the unique opportunity to own core functions of our DC office operations. The position requires a smart resilient individual who has the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once while maintaining a positive attitude and cool head.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the maintenance of the office including housekeeping of office facilities such as the kitchen area and conference rooms
  • Ensure that the office is operating efficiently by ordering office supplies, submitting building work orders, and maintaining relationship with building property management and janitorial vendor
  • Assist with assembling client proposals and work via formatting and printing materials
  • Manage the reception area to maintain professional image
  • Maintain conference room calendars
  • Welcome and check in all guests
  • Answer, screen and accurately direct calls
  • Sort, open and distribute all incoming mail and packages
  • Responsible for shipping packages including packages to Chicago HQ
  • Assist with the coordination of meetings and events including organizing cost estimates and scheduling required vendors/supplies for each event
  • Train employees on and assist with basic AV functions in the office
  • Participate as needed in special projects
  • Coordinate and assist with company event logistics
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong emotional intelligence and resilience
  • Problem solving skills with an attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends when needed
  • Passion for efficiency and process optimization
  • Have a bias towards automation
