Operations Manager
What You'll Do
We’re looking for an experienced manager who understands production and knows how to measure, monitor, and motivate people. The Operations Manager is responsible for day-to-day oversight of a group of 15-30 estimating professionals and leads. We want someone who knows how to drive a team to meet operational goals, while using audit results to improve performance. Using KPI metrics and reporting dashboards, use operational results to lead conversations with all staff, high to medium to low performers. This role reports directly to the Director of Operations, and works other Managers responsible for production, QA and operational excellence. .
Responsibilities
- Manage your own team of 3-5 leads and 15-30 staff to produce up to 400 claims daily
- Work closely with the Director of Operations to operate high production team, using metrics, conversations, and leadership to meet operational goals
- Use detailed KPI metrics to efficiently run team and report results for senior management
- Gain an understanding of what Snapsheet is as a whole and projecting that accordingly around the office and to customers and vendors we come in contact with
Qualifications
- BA/BS required, MBA a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in operations
- At least one year of operations management experience, preferable in the auto industry
- Rental car operations background is a special plus
- Strong analytical understanding with a history of using KPI dashboards to operate a team
- Experience managing teams as well as managing complex processes a plus
