Spring is seeking a motivated, operations-savvy team member to join our quickly growing Chicago-based startup located in the River North area. As an Operations Specialist, you will be reporting to the Director of Operations and you will be involved in all facets of business operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an operations or a support role and will be responsible for the onboarding of local clients on to the Spring platform and provide support to the sales team in troubleshooting and pipeline management of clients participating on the platform.  This is a great opportunity for the ideal candidate to start from the ground up and learn about credit card processing, operations, Mobile-Device Management and pipeline management in a fast-paced work environment.

 

Responsibilities

 

·       Managing the local client onboarding pipeline and ensuring new clients launch successfully and on time within promised SLA guidelines

·       Salesforce.com data entry, management and reporting

·       Weekly reporting to management of local pipeline and projections for launching local clients on Spring.

·       Resolution of broken data streams for existing local clients

·       Processor change requests

·       Client cancellations and

·       Back up Mobile Device Management (MDM) duties including, but not limited to

o   Preparation and deployment of client mobile devices;

o   Managing device/equipment inventory

o   Resolving technical issues and reporting issues to our engineering team or member support (for merchant issues)

o   Performance analysis and troubleshooting of live client devices in the field

·       Special projects assigned as necessary

·       Other Duties as assigned

 

Desired Knowledge/Skills/Experience

 

·       2+ years professional experience, with a Bachelors degree with a technical focus, such as Management Information Sciences (MIS) or related field required.

·       Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) particular familiarity with Pivot Tables, formulas and VLookups.

·       1-2 years prior experience with credit card processing preferred.

·       Familiarity with working with Google Docs, particularly in Google Sheets.

·       Candidate must be a self-starter, highly organized, detail oriented, creative, able to work with minimal supervision, and have a hunger for finding problems and building innovative solutions.
