Paid Search Marketing (PPC, SEM) Manager

Our Search Engine Marketing team creatively conceives, manages, and optimizes one of the industry’s largest Paid Search accounts in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the growth of Paid Search accounts across major search engines by optimizing and refining SEM initiatives based on seasonality, industry updates and a dynamic live event calendar
- Leverage campaign performance data from multiple sources to gain insights, identify trends and make strategic recommendations to improve performance
- Assist in determining relative priority of particular projects by weighing potential impact and anticipated completion time, helping to manage team’s project organization and daily work flow
- Provide constructive feedback, coaching on industry best practices, and training on new strategies for junior to intermediate team members
- Effectively communicate goals and initiatives with account management teams at our search engine partners
- Assist in identification and implementation of display advertising opportunities
- Troubleshoot ad serving errors, analytics tracking issues, and reporting discrepancies as they arise, effectively communicating such issues to executive management as needed
- Conduct competitive and industry research to stay current with market trends, updates and advertising strategies
Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in Search Engine Marketing
- Experience in e-commerce preferred
- Proven success in managing marketing teams consisting of individuals at various stages of their careers
- Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills; able to maintain a detailed project-plan with a high level of accuracy
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manipulate and interpret program performance data
- Technologically savvy, quick learner with outstanding Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high pressure environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst or other web analytics software experience
- Proactive, energetic personality; strives to learn new skills and share knowledge with industry
