The role of Worldwide Partner Program Manager will be to manage and refine the Worldwide Channels, Telco and TPP programs by building repeatable processes, defining key program elements and formalizing regular best practices into policy to make it easier for partners and Trustwave team members to grow Partner revenue. The scope of responsibilities will span all the way from over-arching strategy and direction decisions to administrative activities as we build the relevant content and collateral to support our programs. The scope of the role will involve new Program development and execution as well as revision and maintenance of existing programs, policies, and procedures. This person will be the key interface to the Trustwave Channels and Partners organization with key touchpoints established with organizations such as Marketing (both HQ and Field), Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales Operations, Sales, Finance, Legal and others. The WW Partner Program Manager will ensure that partners and the Trustwave team will have access to the appropriate resources to enable the partners to be successful. The ideal candidate can manage his or her own workflow and deliverables in a fast paced, developing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be a voice and representative of the Channels and Partners team and its strategy with many Trustwave functions (i.e. Marketing, Product Management, Product Marketing, etc.) and processes (i.e. Product/Service launches, Event planning, analyst relations.)
  • Initiate and / or contribute to development of content to meet needs of Partners. This will include overall Program guides as well as content to be housed in the Partner portal and Learning Management System
  • Creation and management of programs such as Demand Generation, Recruitment, Development, & Enablement activities / Events.
  • Fiscal responsibility for program utilization and forecasting of spend.
  • Communications vehicles for internal Trustwave employees and externally to the various partner communities on a WW basis—Partner Newsletter, webinars, etc.
  • Proactively collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements that can be developed into scalable program features and/or training or incentive programs. Engage partners and partner account teams and understand patterns in their knowledge gaps, and provide thought leadership for proposed programs.
  • Evaluate effectiveness and propose adjustments to programs to improve performance and ensure objectives are met.
  • Instill consistency on a WW basis in Program tiers (I.e. VAD, VAR silver, gold, platinum) and tier requirements.
  • Develop and execute consistent approach to partner promotion, demotion, and overall compliance.
  • Execute appropriate changes to SFDC (including deal registration) to meet growing needs of partners, channel teams and Trustwave field
  • Work with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to ensure partner sales teams have access to up-to-date content from Trustwave such as data sheets, demo materials, and other material necessary to enable Trustwave partners to find, qualify and advance sales opportunities. Ensure that the latest content is hosted on appropriate partner portal pages.
  • Track and report Partner performance on a WW basis against tier level requirements.
  • Responsible for Partner presence and content on Trustwave.com as well as facilitating Trustwave presence on websites of our top partners.
  • Create and maintain tools such as Partner plan templates and QBR templates.
  • Develop and refine Partner Dashboards for the capture and reporting of real-time information against established metrics.
  • Trustwave lead on cross department strategy and execution for Partner program elements.
  • Represent WW Channels and Partners in key meetings and within relevant cross functional groups

 

Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • Global partner/alliance/channel programs experience
  • Experience working with major security vendors and their partner ecosystem
  • Excellent program management, project management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to create and launch new programs
  • Excellent presentation skills at all levels within TW and our partners
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically and to drive execution
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; experience in interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to initiate new programs, model results and obtain senior management buy-in and support
  • Experience using Salesforce.com
  • Experience working within Cybersecurity preferred.
  • Chicago-based role

 Education:

We prefer college educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
