Partnership Engagement Associate
Overview
At FarShore (www.farshore.com) we approach clients as long-term partners, not one-time transactions. Over the course of eight years and thousands of software projects, we have designed and developed web and mobile applications for clients ranging from Fortune 1000 companies to startups. We are currently seeking a Partner Engagement Associate to help facilitate an ideal client experience for FarShore’s existing and prospective clients. The ideal candidate for this position is energetic, detail-oriented and has a high capacity for both written and verbal communication. The candidate should be ready to work in an entrepreneurial environment in downtown Chicago while interacting with an international portfolio of clients and FarShore’s full-time software development team.
Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with the Business Development Team (sales, marketing, and account management) to coordinate critical touch points during the project selection, review and onboarding processes
- Assist with the sourcing and maintenance of FarShore’s sales cycle (researching new client prospects, preparing documentation and presentations that communicate the FarShore service offering, participate in the vetting of client project requirements and finalize sales proposals)
- Serve as a primary support interface between the FarShore implementation team and clients when issue resolution is required
- Participate in and lead various client engagement initiatives including educational material development
- Support content marketing strategy via social media and blogging
- Attending Chicago technology events to represent the company and grow brand awareness
Relevant Skills and Experience
- 1-3 years of account management / marketing / sales experience in a technology company, specifically web and mobile development
- Effective presentation delivery for prospective and active clients; high emphasis on both written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
- Community development and marketing strategy implementation
- Interest in internet-based software, specifically mobile and e-commerce applications
- Bachelor's degree
- Comfortable being hands-on in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment working within a global workforce across multiple cultures
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
