What you will do:
- Assist in end-to-end administration of employee benefit plans including health, dental, vision, 401(k), supplemental insurance plans, flexible spending accounts, and commuter reimbursment benefits
- Onboard new employees and work to get proper hire & benefits paperwork completed and maintain employee benefit & HR files
- Ensure policies, practices, documents, procedures, and reporting are up to date and in compliance
- Work with the Director of People to assist with performance management processes and evolving department practices
- Plan, manage, and communicate special projects such as employee recognition, wellness, and employee surveys
- Help organize Belly culture events and programs
- Work on special projects to help out the People and Finance teams as needed
Experience and Skills:
What you need:
- 3 – 4 years HR Generalist experience
- Knowledge of general HR policies, standard processes, functions and systems
- Experience working with benefit regulatory laws, labor laws, legal components of employment and EEO, and wellness best practices
- Ability to research, analyze, and make recommendations to resolve issues that are consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law
- Execeptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- A passion for people and organizational culture
- Experience with Paylocity a plus
