 UI LABS is actively recruiting candidates for our Program Associate role in our Chicago headquarters. The Program Associate is responsible for owning several special projects as well as supporting the various supervisors within the Office of the CEO including the C-Suite and various Directors.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with a desire to grow in a fast-paced and engaging start-up environment.

+ Key Responsibilities 

  • Support C-Suite and the Office of the CEO with special projects, administrative assistance, and communication coordination.
  • Serve as the conduit between C-Suite and internal and external stakeholders; manage follow up and track progress on action items.
  • Prepare CEO for key internal and external meetings, manage special projects across the organization, and coordinate key senior leadership meetings and/or off-sites.
  • Build and manage agendas and presentations for staff meetings, management and Senior Leadership presentations, and meetings with external stakeholders
  • Design and generate general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc. Proofread copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned by Directors within the Office of the CEO which includes the departments of Economic Development and Communications.

+ Qualifications 

  • Bachelors’ degree required; new grads are encouraged to apply
  • Detail-oriented and creative with a desire to advance within the organization
  • Experience in project management and/or a coordinator position or previous experience supporting Director or C-Suite level is a plus
  • Ability to work proactively with little guidance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent judgment/decision-making skills; high tolerance for ambiguity
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task - great time management.
