Job Description

We are seeking a client focused Project Manager, capable of leveraging a range of project management skills and techniques to effectively manage and deliver medium to large scale projects across multiple disciplines. Proactive and commercially aware, you are able to quickly grasp complex projects and deliver them to time and budget whilst always focusing on customer satisfaction. You are an excellent communicator, adept at building and owning strong relationships with clients and throughout your project teams. Capable of seeing a project through from inception to close and not afraid of tackling problems head on, you’re passionate about your projects and will do what it takes to deliver.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end to end project/program management, demonstrating ownership over the entire process.


• Ensure all project outputs are delivered to time and cost within agreed tolerances.


• Effectively manage project resources and trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost.


• Monitor progress of project elements and engage relevant project team members as needed


• Offer constructive solutions to resolve project, design or delivery issues


• Proactively manage day-to-day client interaction and own the client program leader relationship


• Hold regular project status meetings with the client and with all levels of management


• Identify, monitor, manage and report project risks and issues, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans


• Generate project/program level metrics and status reports for executive level stakeholders


• Ensure all necessary project documentation is updated and distributed according to Codifyd process.


• Develop lasting client relationships and identify opportunities for delivery of additional projects and solutions.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of relevant project management experience, including project management of large scale, complex data projects.


• Thorough knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid methodologies)


• Project management certification


• Demonstrated management and leadership skills and experience.


• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.


• Experience managing, tracking, and forecasting project budgets and financials.


• Proven track record of building strong team relationships, both internally and with clients.


• Ability to influence and negotiate with senior business leaders to accomplish project goals


• Experience interacting with executive leadership and stakeholders to establish strategic plans and objectives for projects.


• Ability to understand and speak confidently about the project and its elements and drive issues resolution.


• Experience managing projects for large corporations.


• Exceptional organizational, reporting, time management and planning skills.


• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.


• Confident and capable communicator, both written and verbal.


• Goal-oriented, action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined.


• Flexible to deal with changing landscape.


• Keen attention to detail, ability to multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment.


• Bachelor’s degree in an analytic, data-focused field. Master’s degree preferred.

Preferred

• Background or understanding of taxonomies / schemas / databases / SQL an advantage.
