 As our company continues to expand globally, we are seeking a Project Manager to oversee large Infrastructure Operations projects and manage planned/unplanned maintenances, expectations around release schedules and SLA adherence and accountability for the entire release management process. You will interface with multiple application teams for application or datacenter projects across our global offices.  In this role, you will be able to make a big impact and see tangible results.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple cross-functional projects at divergent phases by providing project leadership and daily management through end to end project life cycle for all assigned projects
  • Work with leadership teams on all aspects of project information including timelines, resource allocation, scope and definition
  • Navigate and execute in an environment of ambiguity and lead teams to the successful delivery of milestones
  • Coordinate production release of software, firmware, and major hardware configurations
  • Coordinate, manage, and drive planned/unplanned maintenances, lead cross functional resources (engineering, dev-ops, product management and customer success) to achieve seamless and successful maintenances
  • Manage deployment roadmaps and release countdowns, conduct retrospectives and championing continuous improvement and process consistency
  • Manage expectations around release schedules, SLA adherence and accountability for the entire release process
  • Understand, manage and plan contingencies for release dependencies across applications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT with at least 2 years in IT project management and release management related roles
  • Experience in facilitation of Release Management meetings and other meetings for review status and updates
  • Strong foundation in managing application releases and capability to manage hardware releases
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies,
  • Strong knowledge of IT business processes and practices
  • Good oral, written and collaborative communication skills

Skills that will set you apart:

  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence a plus
  • Experience working in DevOps environment for project/release management a plus
