Public Relations Intern
Essential Qualifications:
Confident with Google Suite and Microsoft Office software, especially spreadsheets
You enjoy reaching out to new people
Ability to multi-task
Eagerness to learn and use social media management systems like Sprout Social
A working knowledge of social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
Professional email writing skills
Previous college coursework in Communications or Marketing
What You'll be Doing:
Learn how to research and plan social media campaigns.
Research companies and organizations we can reach out to and partner with.
Aggregate posts from third parties that fit with our brand voice.
Monitor social media engagement.
Working with team members to develop relationships with influencers.
Help to plan events and in-office initiatives that drive our PR strategy.
Benefits:
Must be available to work 15-40 hours per week, M-F.
If applicable, we'll cooperate with ensuring you receive course credit and schedule around your classes.
Pay is $11/hr. Internship will last 3 months.
