Recruiter/Human Resource Specialist
Job Summary:

RedShelf experienced 400% YOY growth, and we’re looking to add a talented Recruiter/Human Resource Specialist who will add value through assisting with every facet of Human Resources with a specific focus on sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new employees. Duties & Responsibilities:
- 2-4 years of Full-cycle recruitment within a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Manage the requisition process, and work with managers to determine position requirements
- Experience developing creative sourcing efforts, and implemented talent acquisition plan to streamline and/or improve current processes
- Build candidate pipelines to source and connect with potential candidates; relevant networks, online and internal databases, employee referrals and passive candidates through networking and research, etc.
- Manage the Applicant Tracking System; to include posting new positions, reviewing and screening resumes
- Assists with employee orientation, onboarding paperwork, and employee files
- Assist with established engagement programs
- Assist the HR Director with ad hoc projects; project memos, employee files, staffing rosters, turnover reports, interview data, and ad-hock Human Resource related reports
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources is desired, or comparable combination of education and experience; working on HR certification (PHR / SPHR) a plus
- 2-4 years of corporate and/or agency recruiting experience including sourcing and full cycle recruiting
- Experience building and driving talent sourcing initiatives
- Experience working with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse), internet sourcing tools and excel spreadsheets
- Solid communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills, with a keen focus on delivering business results
- The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, intuitive, organized, and able to adapt quickly to changing demands on time and work efforts
- Must be able to problem solve and undertake projects independently while successfully executing multiple tasks in a fast paced, time sensitive, deadline oriented environment
Other Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge and appreciation of the advances in higher educational software, course materials, and digital publishing
- HR certification (PHR / SPHR)
- Background and/or experience in educational technology and/or publishing
- Comfort and/or experience in a start-up environment
