Job Mission

Build diverse, robust pipelines through sourcing, events and other recruiting avenues to swiftly fill for eSpark’s highest priority roles.

In this role, you will:

  • Support hiring managers by building a pipeline of top candidates through researching and sourcing for candidates and then engaging them.
  • Manage and maintain an exceptional interview experience - you leave candidates with an exceptionally positive view of our team and culture because of your diligence.
  • Play air traffic controller on all recruiting logistics. You manage all steps of the interview process: fit screens, on-site interviews, performance tasks, references, etc.
  • Build our pipelines while building our brand so we’re attracting candidates through promotion, events, conferences, blog posts, etc.
  • Draft, edit and post open roles on the eSpark website, LinkedIn, EdSurge, BuiltIn Chicago,  AngelList and other relevant job sites.
  • Support the team with administrative tasks and special projects as they relate to people operations at eSpark.

You bring:

  • 0-3 years full time work experience.
  • Operational Excellence - You get work done quickly and done well by effectively organizing, prioritizing, tracking, and managing your workflow. You speak up when you need help unblocking barriers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication - externally and internally - across different teams, people and levels of leadership. You write well and persuasively.
  • A demonstrated commitment to diversity and a high level of empathy for the candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Education, work or internship experience in sales, marketing, HR or recruitment preferred. Interest in HR or recruiting required. Passion for technology and/or education a bonus.
