Replenishment Analyst

We are building a new Centralized Replenishment department and we would like your talent to help us continue to grow.
In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that there is a seamless flow of goods from the vendor to our customers.
More specifically, you will be an integral part in:
- Maintaining ideal inventory levels by utilizing demand forecasting data for assigned categories and expediting inbound orders to support customer demand.
- Ordering and tracking promotional order quantities to support plans, and developing strategies to address overstocks and the residual sale of excess inventory.
- Working with vendors (DSD or otherwise) to achieve optimum inventory levels and to resolve any late delivery issues, ensuring service is not impacted.
- Identifying root causes for inventory issues and/or out of stocks, and collaborating with the local Inventory/Operations teams and vendors to resolve them.
- Addressing issues resulting in non-movement of inventory and process return-to-vendor on overstocks and discontinued items as well as working with suppliers and other facilities in the network to address product availability, freshness, and product transition issues.
- Monitoring inventory performance, including DSD vendors, to ensure proper inventory levels, shrink and freshness are maintained.
- Coordinating and executing all distributions with Merchandising and providing daily updates to the Merchandising team on market conditions, shortages, excess inventory, and product substitutions.
- Resolving all purchase order discrepancies to ensure timely payments to our suppliers, including total reconciliation of cost of goods, quantity, and freight variances.
Preferred
- Bachelor or better.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5-7 years of purchasing or merchandising experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain functions within a retail environment.
- Ability to analyze products & inventory, and to design improvement strategies.
- Demonstrated teamwork with the ability to develop strong relationships with the Operations team and vendors.
- Outstanding organization, planning and time management skills.
- Must have the ability to pass the Food Safety Certification.
