 Responsibilities include:

  • The Regional Vice President of Direct Sales will lead a fast growing and high energy team in establishing the vision, tone and direction of their department.
  • Develop and share vision, goals while working in a collaborative/ teamwork environment with their peers and across sales channel, company divisions and dealer partners
  • Passion for developing talent and improving self and team
  • Build and maintain a positive work environment within the team characterized by high expectations and aggressive sales goals while fostering an open, accountable direct sales culture
  • Communicates effectively vision, goals, direction to all key stake holders with candor
  • Recruit, interview and effectively train a team
  • Focus on executing the Cars.com mission while upholding company values
  • Demonstrate leadership in guiding sales teams to attain high growth goals
  • Review sales rep performance and suggest needed improvements and corrective actions as required
  • Develop and manage business plan to exceed targets
  • Champions new ideas, best practices and ideas to advance a successful and positive culture.
  • Other duties assigned by manager

 REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Ability to travel up to 85% of the time.
  • Record of successful achievement
  • Passion for winning and strong communication skills
  • Excel in leadership, communication, team building, analytical skills, account management, service excellence, initiative, flexibility, and possess top organizational skills. (CORE COMPENTIES)
  • Well balanced with a proven track record of building teams and leaders to drive successful results
  • Well organized, with strong relationship building capabilities
  • Ability to quickly assess customer needs and provide proper solutions
  • Passion for success , learning and building teams and fostering growth

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 10 years in leadership role of hiring, training and developing teams
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in online advertising and/or sales
