What You'll Be Doing:

The Sales Development Specialist role is great opportunity to get your feet wet in one of Chicago’s fastest-growing SaaS companies. Sales Development is the foundation of our sales organization, and you will be a key member of the team responsible for driving the leads that result in meeting Procured’s revenue goals. This is a highly visible group within the company.

 After a year, you will have learned a ton about our business and how health systems operate. You will have been the first point of contact with hospital executives and been a productive partner to our Sales Directors. At that point, there will be growth opportunities for you at Procured – whether rising through the ranks on our sales team or slotting in and helping in other areas of our business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

You will be responsible for gathering market data, executing targeted outbound prospecting campaigns and managing the inbound marketing lead flow. You will be responsible for establishing initial contact with health system executives and potential customers to facilitating follow up activities that lead to new business opportunities.

  •  Initiate contact with potential customers to generate sales ready opportunities
    • Create outbound prospect lists, identify relevant potential buyers by title and source contact information
    • Manage inbound leads from content marketing, webinars, and conferences
  • Qualify leads to determine if prospects fits buying criteria
  • Communicate Procured’s value proposition to prospective customers via email and phone and handle objections as they arise
  • Schedule sales meetings and appointments for Sales Leadership with prospective customers
  • Prepare background material and market research in preparation for sales meetings and appointments 
  • Maintain Salesforce to track key performance metrics
  • Collaborate with the Sales Leadership team to refine our sales development processes

Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years of experience
  • Self-motivated & coachable: you don’t need somebody to tell you to do your job, but you welcome feedback
  • Solution-oriented in nature
  • Ability to understand and simplify the value proposition of complex solutions
  • Highly effective communicators, both via email and phone
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Persistent and professional relationship management skills
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
  • Bachelor degree is required
