The role in a nutshell
We’re looking for a strategic sales leader with a stellar track record in generating, pursuing and closing high-quality enterprise deals. What you’ll do
- Effectively promote Retrofit’s unique, high-touch and high tech solutions, outcomes and value to prospects to qualify, drive and close high quality business
- Develop a strong pipeline to ensure consistent, predictable success and hit aggressive sales numbers
- Design and execute new sales and marketing strategies in your territory to increase Retrofit’s revenue
- Lead the sales process for your territory, including phone and in-person meetings, follow-through, contracting, and transition to implementation teams
- Own pipeline management and forecasting for your territory including lead generation, prospecting, qualification, and close through accurate and timely documentation of sales activity in Salesforce
- Support sales events by attending webinars, tradeshows and conferences
- Conduct ROI analyses for new opportunities and negotiate pricing, service levels, performance guarantees, deliverables and timelines
- Collaborate effectively with account management and operations to forecast resource needs, onboard new sales, and delight customers
- Collaborate with marketing on lead generation campaigns and to develop and improve sales tools
- Maintain deep knowledge of Retrofit’s product, industry trends and competition
- Contribute to Retrofit’s culture by actively living our values
What you need
- 10+ years of consultative sales experience in health and wellness industry with strong track record of exceeding sales targets
- Deep knowledge of healthcare, technology and digital health markets
- Ability to close a sale, having the credibility, perseverance and authority to handle each client from lead generation through contract execution
- Experience negotiating and structuring sales contracts with sophisticated buyers
- A strong sense of ownership, with a focus on preparation and an ability to tailor communicated to intended audience, including C-level
- Demonstrated expertise in consultative, solution selling and business development skills with ability to align the customer's business needs with our solution to drive sales and close deals
- Know strength and weaknesses of key competitors in the health and wellness industry and how to leverage this knowledge
- Must be aggressive self-starter with strong relationship management and negotiation skills
- Extremely smart with analytical mind who is adept at finding solutions to win
- Ability to travel up to 50% for customer engagements and marketing events
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
