Sales Associate (Part-Time)

Trunk Club (www.trunkclub.com) aims to build the best service known to man.  We help our members build a personalized wardrobe so they never have to go shopping for clothes.  We combine the expertise of personal stylists, a broad selection of designer apparel, and a custom-built technology platform to enable personal and personalized service for our members.


Our team is based in Chicago, DC, Dallas, TX, Los Angeles, and New York City. We have grown from four to over 1000 since starting out in December 2009. We're actively looking to find amazing people to join our team.  Are you interested?

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Sales Associate is responsible for providing an exceptional service experience while assisting in our on-site operations.  You’ll be on the front line, solving problems for our members and supporting our stylists in day-to-day account management and appointments.  

WHAT YOU'D DO EVERY DAY:



  • Manage relationships with members to help make their lives easier

  • Provide remarkable support to our growing sales team so they can focus on selling

  • Chat, email, and have phone calls with members to solve their problems

  • Coordinate logistics of deliveries and returns

  • Fold product from in-house appointments and run the shelves

  • Assist with unpacking/tagging/folding new product and stocking the shelves

  • Maintain knowledge of new and old product (know vendor names, styles, colors, etc)

  • Assist in receiving and stocking all supplies needed to run the sales office

  • Delight people with unbelievably considerate care and attention to detail

  • Maintain the space while keeping it up to standards of cleanliness

  • Greet guests and assist at reception when needed

  • Have the ability to be on your feet for most of your shift and moving around the office/stock room.  The job requires occasional sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and pulling objects

Requirements:



  • Reliable for efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to learn quickly and multi-task, juggling several tasks with ease

  • Required to be on feet majority of the day, supporting customers and making sure everyone is happy

  • Ensure proper store maintenance, cleanliness and safety standards

  • Strong communication skills, having the ability to demonstrate both verbal and written skills to leadership, internal & external clients, etc.

  • Must be able to obtain an alcohol permit according to state and federal regulations

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and have intermediate technical skills

  • Dependable for providing essential support to a team and excellent communication

  • Comfortable with working in a chaotic environment and work well under pressure

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or relevant work and/or retail experience
