Scientific Project Manager

With the advent of genomic sequencing, we can finally decode and process our genetic makeup. We now have more data than ever before but providers don't have the infrastructure or expertise to make sense of this data. We're on a mission to connect an entire ecosystem to redefine how genomic data is used in clinical settings. We are looking for an experienced Scientific Project Manager who will work with our cross functional team on sales support and lead report generation efforts for clinical and research use.
Responsibilities:
Report Generation
- Lead a cross-functional team to ensure clinical and research reports are delivered on time and with exceptional accuracy:
- Utilize a variety of in-house software tools to research and write reports
- Perform critical quality control functions for laboratory workflow and clinical reports
- Communication between science, clinical trials, product, pathology
- Continuous process improvement (including retro meetings)
Account Management
- Demo meetings with physicians
- Report / portal rollout meetings
- Gathering / organizing feedback for reports
- On-going customer management
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Cancer Genetics, Human Genetics or Biological Sciences
- Prior experience in a diagnostic laboratory, clinical report writing, and familiarity with human mutation databases, genome browsers, and HGVS nomenclature
- Oncology experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated attention to detail, excellent communication and writing skills
- Highly organized and systematic, superb attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Show initiative and ability to work as part of a high-level team while working independently on mission-critical tasks.
