Then we have an opportunity for you! The Senior DBA in this role is responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of HAVI databases.  This role will translate data, application, and process requirements into appropriate database solutions. Additional responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain (upgrade & patch) database software
• Create, monitor, and optimize database performance utilizing advanced performance tuning skills
• Automate recurring / redundant database tasks
• Experience working in Mixed workload DB environment with special focus on compression, partition,
• Maintain database integrity, availability, and restorability
• Execute and automate database refreshes
• Provide on-call support which can require analysis and troubleshooting of complex issues
• Lead and contribute to design discussions in a cross functional project setting
• Develop database standards, guidelines, and best practices
• Design and architect solutions which often require complex system integration
• Lead and mentor team members
• Perform capacity planning and project estimation.
• Evaluate and research new database features, version, and new database technologies
