The primary responsibility of the End User Computing Engineer is to support the End User Computing device infrastructure through excellent management of ITs desktop management systems, imaging processes, anti-virus and endpoint security systems.  Provides “Tier 2” hardware and software support for users of Paylocity’s desktop, laptop and tablet computing platforms and provides direct phone support for callers to the service desk.  Demonstrates and applies superior knowledge of Microsoft Desktop OS configuration, Microsoft Office Suite functionality, and desktop, laptop and tablet hardware.

Required Experience: 

  • Windows 8.1
  • MAC OSX
  • DeployStudio – Nice to have
  • Office 2013/2016
  • Networking basics
  • Smartphone management / troubleshooting 
  • Cisco Telepresence
  • VOIP administration 
  • Project management
  • Experience with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft platforms including System Center, Windows client technologies, and MDT
  • SCCM Operating System Deployment experience
  • At least 2 years of corporate support experience in an enterprise environment
  • PowerShell and batch script creation experience required
  • Server administration skills required
  • A+, Network + and at least one Microsoft server certification required
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to communicate highly technical functions to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to work with senior level management

During the last three months, you would have:

  • Defined problems, collected data, established facts, and drew valid conclusions.
  • Deployed different SCCM app packages and pushed them out to clients
  • Kept application packages current in the SCCM app store
  • Employed general knowledge in creating/modifying various reports from SCCM admin console
  • Worked on a project to see it from beginning until the end while meeting deliverables
  • Employed ability to improve, optimize and streamline software deployment process in order to ensure smooth, uninterrupted deliver to the business users.
