Senior Manager, Creative Services Operations
The Senior Manager, Creative Services Operations will oversee and lead the management of the digital content marketing team’s operations, driving strategic alignment with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that the creative team is aligning to business needs within scope and budget. The Senior Manager will drive production scale and strategic creative innovation, collaborating cross-functionally with global and local internal teams dedicated to branded creative, localization, strategy, digital and content marketing, merchandising, and social media. This role reports into the Head of Global Digital Content Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Manage creative strategic initiatives from conceptualization to completion, and translate merchandising and marketing objectives into creative strategies and processes
Understand and champion the Groupon brand, and ensure projects adhere to brand guidelines, merchandising guidelines, and strategy
Drive creative innovation, brainstorming, and conceptualization to develop and produce innovative, thought-provoking campaigns
Partner with key cross-functional stakeholders to identify and develop metrics and ongoing measurement around creative value
Identify and implement processes and solutions to drive creative operational scale and improved quality in line with brand
Develop framework, training tools and exercises, and be available as a SME to key stakeholders to validate best practices and agreements
Manage cross-functional global communications and creative production to ensure effective exchange of campaign information and deliverables
Lead a team of managers and staff responsible for creative output of written and/or visual content and assets
Partner with Head of Digital Content Marketing to lead the annual operations planning and oversee subsequent management of the budget and operations
Requirements:
7+ years creative services experience, with emphasis in digital marketing, editorial content or content marketing, merchandising, and/or creative operations
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience managing a creative team, including brand implementation and creative processes
Demonstrated success working in a matrix environment and leading cross-functional teams across brand, merchandising, product, UX, and data science to achieve goals
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills; demonstrated ability to use data and analysis to make decisions, justify investments, and track effectiveness of change
Experience working with global teams to execute a high volume of creative campaigns and projects
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel
Familiarity working with content management systems, project management tools, and data/analytics
Knowledge of Mac computers
Ability to work in a fast-paced, open-office environment
